Hello,
I have a Carmona which has been doing really well since I got it. It*s been sprouting new shoots etc.?
I moved house in July and not long after it*s been shedding its leaves. It*s on a windowsill with a nice amount of light but no direct sunlight. I water it when I think I*m supposed to and I*ve also fed it a few times. I know that it is still alive because it*s still green under the bark.?
Please help. I just won*t stop losing its leaves.?

What do you by watering when you are supposed to? It looks quite dry from the pictures. This is one of the most difficult species to keep in the hostile environment of a house, poor light no humidity no air. Culture is the problem, but without more details of how it is looked after there is not much more I can add.

In authum the the central heating kicks in an dry up the air. Carmona, beeing from humid subtropical climate just hates that. On top of that sunlight gets less and less, but the heat wants it to grow. That is a recepie for failure. It needs to be kept cool and humid with a lot of light. An environment most of us in the nortern part of the world just cannot provide. The death sentense is signed when the trees leave the nurcery.?
